If you could please also include the dimensions of the vehicles that are transporting the portable buildings and what kind of signs etc. will be placed on the vehicle to indicate the oversized load (e.g. any flags or markers on the portable). You mention that there will be two pilots for each load — so one pilot vehicle in front and one behind the portable? Please confirm. Will you be able to go down 205t" and Firdale without having any lanes closed? What about the turn onto 240t" PI SW? If you need to have any lane(s) closed on the haul route in Edmonds, you will need to submit a traffic control plan showing as such in the resubmittal. Truck is 8' Wide, 20' Long KW tractor with lowboy trailer 8'6" wide, Oversize load sign on top of truck, plus on the back of the unit, with amber flashing lites. We will be able to go down 205th and firdale without having any lanes closed and on 240th pl sw. one front pilot with oversize load sign and amber flasher, and one rear pilots car with oversize load sign and amber flasher . The unit itself on the lowboy will have red flags on all corners of the unit, also amber flashers and oversize load signs on the back end of unit. If no lane closures will be needed to arrive at the site, then you can just add notes addressing my comments in the paragraph above to the haul route sheet or include a separate sheet with that information, and that will suffice for the resubmittal. They said they've done a lot of similar hauls in Edmonds and never been asked for a Traffic Control plan, which is typically required when there is work occurring within the Right of Way (ROW). In this case there will be no work in the ROW. I've attached a draft of our response along with a haul route plan (Spruce ES to Woodway ES). If you would please review and advise if this addresses your comment? I want to be sure we've done so when we resubmit.
