Include description of proposed construction methods, (e.g., bores, trenches, overhead i%ires proposed, depth for underground utilities, etc.) Nuisance tree in the southeast corner of the property at 729 Main St. Is being removed. Licensed arborist will need to park truck and tree chipper on Main St. and close the sidewalk between the tree and their vehicles while the work is being completed. See attached site and traffic control plans for details. Work is not expected to last longer than one business day and we are requesting to be permitted to complete this job on Thurs. October 7, between the hours of 8am and 5pm. Any logs left behind wiA be placed on the homeowner's property and then disposed of promptly. Overhead utility companies (phone and power) will be contacted by the neighbor to our east to drop their lines running through the tree's branches in the morNng and then reconnect them when the contractor says that it is safe to do so. The homeowner's of 729 and 731 Main St. are cooperating and communicating together on this project and with the utility companies. Both properties have already had utility locations completed. Sidewalks and street will be left clear of all tree -removal related debris upon completion of this job. The Applicant agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the City of Edmonds, its officials, officers, employees, and agents against any injuries, damages, or claims of any kind or description whatsoever, foreseen or unforeseen, including defense costs and attorney fees, resulting directly or indirectly from any act or omission of the Applicant, its subcontractors, anyone directly or indirectly employed by them, and anyone for whose acts or omissions they may be liable, arising out of, related to, or by reason of the granting of this permit; and specifically including but not limited to all loss by the failure of the Applicant to fully or adequately- perform, in any respect, all authorizations or obligations under the permit.
