Installation of a Full Coverage Automatic and Manual Fire Alarm
System in an Existing Non -Sprinkled Building. The Fire Alarm system will
provide Automatic Detection, Manual Activation and Occupant Notification
throughout the existing building as per the City of Edmonds & South County
Fire's requirements. The Fire Alarm System will monitor the existing CLASS
1 Ansul Kitchen Hood for activation.
Scope of work includes: Installation of a new Fully Addressable Fire
Alarm Control Panel, (1) Addressable FACP Smoke Detector, (1) Addressable
FACP Pull -Station, (13) Addressable Heat Detectors, (1) Addressable
Monitor Module, (13) Occupant Notification Devices, (1) AES Radio
Communicator, (2) Conventional Relays and (1) FA Document Cabinet.
A full pre -test shall be conducted and completed prior to calling the
AHJ for acceptance testing. A completed NFPA-72 completion form and AES
radio table report will be provided to the AHJ at the time of the fire
final acceptance test. Copies of all record documents will be place in the
FA Document Cabinet at the FACP. System has been designed per IBC, IFC,
NFPA 70 & 72 and your additional requirements.

AMBIENT TEMPERATURES
No area with alarm service equipment shall
fall below 40 degrees, common areas shall
be at 68 degrees per builder
AMBIENT NOISE RANGE
All areas serviced by the Fire Alarm Control and
notification system will be as listed for
per UBC listings, per builder.

Fire Protection, Inc.: Monitoring, Design, Permits, Installation &
System Testing.
SEQUENCE OF OPERATIONS
All Alarm and Trouble conditions shall enunciate at FACP as well as
remote notify UL listed Central Station. Zones of alarm shall cause
for all notification circuits to activate, send alarm zone to CS,
re -dispatch to Fire and dispatch FPI runner service. Trouble and
supervisory signals shall transmit to CS which will dispatch FPI
runner service to site, (no notification circuits shall activate.) On
site emergency contact personnel shall be notified. Opens, shorts,
and ground faults on any zones shall cause for a trouble signal.
