Terms and Conditions
• Sales tax is not included. Standard sales tax rates apply.
• Prices proposed in this agreement are guaranteed for 15 days from date of agreement. Tekline will notify customer of any price increase prior to start of
project. Customer/Tekline has the right to cancel with full refund prior to job start/materials ordered.
• 10% deposit will be collected upon signing. 40%will be collected on the first day of project. Metal roofs 40%(non-refundable) will be collected when panels
are ordered. Balance will be collected at completion of project. Payments not received within ten (10) days of completion will be subject to a five hundred dollar
($500) late charge and the unpaid amount and late charge will begin to accrue interest at ten percent (10%) per annum. If any party institutes suit against the
other concerning this Agreement, or the work under it, the prevailing party shall be entitled to reasonable attorneys' fees and expenses.
• If a project permit is obtained by Tekiine Roofing, owner will be responsible for cost of permits.
• Tekline Roofing is not responsible for fasteners which penetrate through underside of roof deck. This includes but is not limited to open soffits, eaves and

• Tekline Roofing is not responsible for cracks in driveway resulting from delivery of material and/or delivery and pick up of disposal container.
• Tekline Roofing is not responsible for cracks, splits and/or paint chips to siding resulting from removal of existing (lashings or installation of new flashings.
Siding that is removed and re -installed will be caulked but may need to be painted (not Included).
• Tekline Roofing is not responsible for damages to interior and/or exterior of building resulting from regular roofing activities or stress of roofing project.
• Any additional work performed which Is not specified in this agreement will be performed at $96 per man hour plus materials with 30%OH&P on materials.
Plywood will be replaced at $95 per sheet for 1/2" Cox. Additional roof layers found and torn off, will be billed at $ 90 square foot
Workmanship Warranty.Tekllne warranties our workmanship for up to 10 years from the date of Installation.

General Specifications:
Tear off: Removal and disposal of 1 layer(s) of roofing material is included in this estimate
Insurance: Tekline is fully licensed, bonded and insured. License# TEKLIR*850KQ. All work in the
following proposal is covered by Workman's Compensation, Public Liability and Completed Operations
Insurance.
Roof Deck Inspection: A full roof deck inspection will be performed after tear -off. Any rot or defective
structure will be removed and replaced on a time and materials basis.
Paint: All furnace vent pipes and all plumbing and electrical pipe flashings will be painted with a rust
proof paint.
Ponding Water: Tekline Roofing does not guarantee to eliminate all ponding water from roof. Causes
include settling of building, structural inadequacies or roof/taper design.
Clean up: Grounds will be thoroughly cleaned, and a magnetic nail sweep will be performed. Gutters will
also be cleaned.
Flat Specifications:
Underlayment: Install a fire rated sheet underlayment to act as a fire retarder.
Underlayment: Fanfold insulation sheet will be installed over roof deck. This will add R-value, act as
vapor barrier and protect roofing membrane from being damaged. Includes synthetic vapor retarder
between fanfold and roof deck.
Flashings: All flashings used will be 26 gauge enamel coated flashings. The color of the flashing used will
closely match the product color chosen.
Fasteners: Galvanized screws and plates will be used to secure roofing to roof deck.
Fan Vents: Replace all existing kitchen/bathroom fan vents with new metal stem vents
Attic Ventilation: InstaII16 pre -fabricated curbed attic vents to ventilate attic.
Plumbing Vents: Replace all existing pipe flashings with new pipe boots.
Membrane Breathers: Vents will be installed to eliminate condensation between membrane and roof
deck.
Corner pieces: Specially manufactured inside and outside corner pieces will be used on all corners.
Drains: Tekline will install new retrofit drain inserts into exisitng bell drains. No work with plumbing is
included.
Cap Metal: 26 gauge cap metal will be installed around perimeter of roof. Screws with grommets will be
used to secure cap metal.
