General summary
There are no proposed revisions to the proposed addition footprint or the building height.
Due to the precision framing requirements of the large Marvin Multi -Slide door on the upper level addition, a
new detail sheet A5.1 was added that primarily addresses finish framing details related to this door unit. This
includes some increased structural elements to obtain the minimal deflection limitations per the manufacturer.
A new sheet A2.4 was also added showing the existing basement plan, but there are no proposed changes to this
level of the existing house.
Sheet A1.1
1. The sheet index was updated to show the 2 new sheets added to the drawing set.
Sheet A2.2
1. The two windows in the half bath were eliminated. The floor plan and window schedule were updated to
reflect this.
2. Detail callouts for the door details were added to the floor plan.
3. The framed wall sizes at the sliding door pocket end were updated to clarify the requirement for plywood on
the interior faces.
4. The note about the location of window "A" was updated.
5. A note was added about a dropped soffit over the cabinets on the south wall.
6. A note was added to fir out the south wall with flat 2x studs to allow for wiring chases.
7. Notes to see Sheet A5.1 for more info about the door were added at several locations.
8. Dimension on the storage room was changed to accommodate cabinet design.
Sheet A3.1
1. The window in the half bath was deleted from drawing #1.
2. Detail callouts for the door details were added to drawing #2.
3. Dimensions for the locations of the scuppers were added to drawing #2.
4. The "faux" lookout beams below the deck were deleted and the fascia around the new deck was revised to
reflect this on drawings #1 and 2.
Sheet A3.2
1. The window in the half bath was deleted from drawing #2.

1. The section was revised to match the structural and framing plans.
2. Detail callouts for the door and deck details were added.
3. The optional deck framing drawing #2 was deleted.
Sheet A5.1
1. New details were added to clarify the rough opening dimensions and construction of the sliding door opening
and the exterior finish deck with sloped sleepers. These drawings also clarify the option to be used for framing
up the interior flooring over the lower level deck TJI's.
2. Detail #6 clarifies the location of the HSS column relative to the end of the PSI it sits on.
Sheet S2.2
1. The headers and posts for the half bath window openings were deleted from drawing #2.
2. A new ridge beam size was added to drawing #2.
3. The GLB size over the sliding door opening was increased to meet the minimum deflection requirements for
the door per the manufacturer. Shown on drawing #2.
4. Locations and heights of various structural elements were added to both drawings.
5. Detail callouts for the door and deck details were added to both drawings.
6. The beam connectors at the top of the HSS columns were revised on drawing #2. The original callout did not
account for the bottom of the transfer beam being higher than the 6 x 10 beams at each side.
7. The note indicating the interior floor joists are cantilevered over the deck joists was deleted from drawing #2.
Sheet S4.1
1. Detail 9 was revised to reflect the construction option being used.
