The existing crossarm is "new', but not the one needed for the project in the permit application. My assumption is it went in whenever the service to that car lot was installed. Basically what I'll be doing is replacing that arm with one a foot longer on each side to give us space to add an extra set of fuses to protect the line crossing Highway 99. The pole was replaced only 6 years ago so the arm on the pole is relatively new, so that might be what your inspector saw. I'll get some eyes on this one to verify we still have work to do.
