ADU Scope of work for Building Permit: Modify existing finished basement, (except for GWB on
two furred walls), and combine with existing bedroom and bathroom to create an ADU with
existing exterior door to the backyard walkway. Existing four bedroom basement to be modified to
accommodate accessory dwelling unit: Installation of venting for: Ventilation of small laundry
closet, housing a stacked washer dryer will be tied to existing bathroom venting serving the two
lower floor bathrooms. Range oven. Dryer Vent Plumbing: No modification to existing drainage
Description plumbing and dra as initially configured age. Extend hot w terfor old media room Extend line to dishwasher location (Kitchen sink plumbing to clothes to utili eexisting of Work: hot cold
water and drainage system installed for media room during initial construction of house). Electrical
modifications: Provide circuits for new kitchen area. Existing circuits serving old media area will be
utilized for the living and dining room. Add new ceiling can lights for laundry kitchen and dining
area. Existing sub panel modified to relocate separate existing circuits serving basement area
outside of new ADU with a new subpanel. Existing subpanel to stay in this location to serve as the
new panel for the ADU. Separate electrical permit has been obtained from L&I. Existing in floor
heating, with separate zoning for ADU will not be modified.
