ADU Scope of work for Building Permit:
Existing four bedroom basement to be modified to accommodate accessory dwelling unit:
Installation of venting for:
a. Ventilation of small laundry closet, housing a stacked washer dryer will be tied to
existing bathroom venting serving the two lower floor bathrooms.
b. Range oven.

Modification to existing drainage plumbing initially configured for media room:
a. extend hot/cold plumbing into washer dryer closet
b. extend hot water line to dishwasher location
C. (Kitchen sink to utilize existing hot cold water and drainage system installed for
media room during initial construction of house).
Electrical modifications:
a. Provide circuits for new kitchen area.
b. existing circuits serving old media area will be utilized for the living and dining room.
C. Add new candle lights for laundry kitchen and dining area.
d. existing sub panel to have partial separation of existing circuits to be relocated into
basement area still attached to the house. existing subpanel to stay in this location
to serve as the new panel for the ADU.
Existing in floor heating, with separate zoning for ADU will not be modified.
Existing bedroom to be utilized as bedroom for ADU, no modifications necessary.
Existing bathroom to be utilized for ADU, no modifications necessary.
New window installed in South wall for living area of ADU. this change necessitated saw
cutting of existing concrete wall and installation of new windows.
