Following that approval, the contract with Fike Industrial Construction was signed by the president of the COA. The total scope of work, not including the painting, is $181,615. Via the Snohomish County Assessor's records, the total building value at this time is $7,340,900. Thus: Pursuant to RCW 64.55 regarding Building Enclosure design documents and inspection, this project is approved for the Rehabilitative Construction exemption because the value of the work ($181,615) is less than 5% of the total assessed value of the building (according to Snohomish County Assessor the building is valued at $7,340,900).
