1. Additions to an existing building or portion thereof shall conform to the provisions of the
2015 WSEC as those provision relate to new construction without reauirine the unaltered
portion of the existing building or building system to comply with this code.
The sunroom is being indirectly heated by the rest of the home. Alterations under 500 square
feet reauire a .5 enerev credit. Enerev credits can be found in Table 406.2 in the 2015 WSEC.
Once you have selected the option being used document this on the plans. Include all the
information into table R402.1.1 and include this with the plans.
a. Please see updated plan set to include a new sheet A0.1 to contain the selected credit
option and prescriptive table R402.1.1 with updated values.
