We have completed an initial review of the project mentioned above. For this project to move forward a few items will need to be addressed. Once a revised set of plans, including a written response to the list of the items contained in this letter are resubmitted, we can complete the review. Some items may require a review by other divisions, such as Planning, Engineering, or Fire and will be noted as such. Resubmittals can be made at the Development Services Department on the 2nd Floor of City Hall. Permit Center hours are M, T, Th, & F from 8am-4:30pm and from 8:30am-12pm on Wednesdays. To complete the review the following items will need to be addressed: General: The addition of the sunroom and archway into the home will require compliance with the 2015 Washington State Energy Code. R502.1 General Additions to an existing building or portion thereof shall conform to the provisions of the 2015 WSEC as those provision relate to new construction without requiring the unaltered posriton of the existing building or building system to comply with this code. The sunroom is being indirectly heated by the rest of the home. Alterations under 500 square feet require a .5 energy credit. Energy credits can be found in Table 406.2 in the 2015 WSEC. Once you have selected the option being used document this on the plans. Include all the information into table R402.1.1 and include this with the plans. Page A4 The archway between the two rooms has created two point loads. Please Show location of thickened areas in the existing foundation.
