To whom it may concern,
The requirement for calculations is not necessary for this deck replacement because we have designed it
to meet the requirements of prescriptive code. We have used the Deck Tip sheet found on
mybuildingpermit.com for beam spans, joist spans and minimum footing dimensions that will meet the
requirements of the deck design. In addition to that we will be using the required DTT1Z brackets on
the structure of the deck and Aluminum cable rails designed and engineered by Crystalite Inc.
