Four terraced landscaping walls and one stand alone landscaping wall was built with concrete
interlocking modular block with the following dimensions 17.5 inch Long x14 inch wide x6 inch
high. Every wall was engineered in the following fashion; the wall base was trenched 12 inches
(two courses) below surface grade and 24 inch wide to allow for 10 inch of.75 inch drain rock
behind the wall and mechanically compacted base for the first layer of block; wall base was set
Description with a solid base of 5 / 8 minus crushed gravel mechanically compacted; each wall was erected
of Work: with interlocking modular block offset by one block width alternating each row of the wall; 6 inch
diameter perforated ridged socked drain pipe centered at the base and mid -point of the walls and
slopped to edge of walls to facilitate proper drainage; 10 inch void behind modular block wall
backfilled with .75 inch clean drain rock to facilitate draining; all drainage lines will connect/tie into
each other and transport the water to be dispersed to the lower level of the slope if facilitate water
irrigation to vegetation and trees along the raised edge the creek
