See e-mail below from Simpson Strong -Tie stating that the proposed repairs for the Fishing Pier are prescriptive and do
not require a stamped engineering drawing. I was able to revise the FRP repair drawing without obtaining the CAD files.
The cover sheet of the attached PDF now lists the current Mayor, City Council and Parks Director. Sheet 8 still shows
scaffolding, which does not reflect the currently proposed means and methods of using a Bridgewalker for repair access.
I assume construction means and methods are not a critical part of the permit review and there is no need to delete the
scaffolding from the permit drawing. I will work on obtaining a copy of the ESR-3403 for the permit submittal.

A structural analysis is not performed for minor structural deficiencies addressed with prescriptive measures. The FRP
repairs shown in the PDF attachment (WSP — City of Edmonds FRP Fishing Pier Repair Plans—10Oct2019 HFS.pdf) are
prescriptive and do not require a stamped engineering drawing.
