Project Description
T-Mobile is submitting an application for modifications to upgrade technology at their existing personal
wireless service facility located at 9726 Edmonds Way, in the City of Edmonds. The scope of work is to
add (2) antennas, replace (2) antennas, and replace ancillary equipment on the existing utility pole. No
height increase and no horizontal protrusion beyond 6'. Additionally, T-Mobile will replace existing
equipment in the existing fenced lease area. No ground disturbance, footprint expansion, or the addition
of outdoor equipment cabinets proposed. The site is zoned WMU.
The additional antennas do not create an increase in visual impact as they are small in scale compared to
the facility structure. T-Mobile is not proposing to expand the equipment area and there will be no ground
disturbance as part of this project. As the additional antennas do not increase the height of the facility and
do not project out from the facility by more than twenty feet, the project is not considered a substantial
change to the previously approved facility. Therefore, we are requesting building permit approval.
