B7 THREADED ROD ROOF MOUNTED TRIPOD INSTALLATION PROCEDURE 1. Carefully cut and roll back the roofing material. If there is insulation cut out a piece 8" square. 2. Chip off the surface of the concrete in the 8" square. 3. Drill a 1 1/8'0 hole through the roof and use a 3/8" thick x 3" square plate, flat washer and lock washer on the lower and of the threaded rod. (Anchor bolt assembly is to be ordered separately from tripod). 4. Paint the 8" square with grout, install forms and pour concrete. 5. After concrete has cured, paint top of the pads with mastic, install flashing cans over roofing, seal roofing as required with mastic. 6. Top of pads must be level with each other within 1/4'.
