To whom it may concern,
I am attempting to perform a simple remodel of the basement laundry room which
requires no structural modifications, moving or adding plumbing and drainage, or
adding/removing electrical circuits. Everything important is already in place i.e. plumbing and
drainage for utility sink and washing machine, dedicated circuit for dryer, and circuit for
lighting.
Here is the full scope of work:
- Demolition
- turn off circuit(s), remove fixtures and switches
- disconnect washer and dryer
- remove utility sink
- remove wood panel and drywall
- Install New Washing Machine Box w/ Stand pipe
- re -plumb hot/cold for new washing machine box
- plumb drainage for new stand pipe, connecting to existing drainage+vent tree
- Install New Dryer Box w/ New Dryer Duct
- remove existing duct
- run new duct and connect to new dryer box
- Modify Existing Hot/Cold Lines for Utility Sink
- remove old hot/cold lines that run directly to faucet
- re-route not/cold lines to individual valves underneath utility sink (standard)
- Install 3-Way switches for 2x 4" recessed lighting
- remove current wiring isolated to laundry room
- install single gang boxes next to either door for switches
- run 12g 3 wire+ground between switches, then to fixtures, and meeting power source
- Drywall, Mud+Tape, and Apply Wall Texture+Paint
- Install New Utility Sink
- Connect Washer Machine and Dryer to New Boxes
I would really prefer to have this job be associated with a permit as I believe the more permits a
home has, the better. I am happy to discuss further either in person or on the phone.
