At your request and authorization, Cobalt Geosciences, LLC was on site to observe the soil
conditions in the area of the rain garden. We observed soils consistent with our previous
geotechnical report, generally silty -fine to medium grained sand with gravel.
We understand that filter media will be placed along with finish grading of the side slopes.
Similar soils were observed in the permeable driveway areas. These areas must not be compacted
or driven over until pavements are in place. The final surfaces must be protected from siltation.
