Scott Hoobler, Arrived on site as requested to observe the installation of 3-inch diameter hydraulically -driven Grip-Tite
PE piers driven into the subgrade to a point of refusal using SPX Power Team hydraulic cylinder jack by
10/19/2021 Robbins and Company at the southwest corner of the residence. The piers were installed to a pressure
that did not exceed 21.7 kips or 21,700 pounds as per the project plans and project structural engineer's
structural calculations. The piers were installed in 3-foot sections. Listed below are the pier locations
(locations corresponding with the approved project plans), depth of the bottom of the existing footing
(measured from the adjacent ground surface), the final installation depth (in feet -inch), design load of
each pier (pounds), and the final installation load (pounds). The final installation depth is measured
from the bottom of the existing footing.
