Project Description
T-Mobile is submitting an application for modifications to upgrade technology at their existing personal
wireless service facility located at 21909 96th Ave W, in the City of Edmonds. In addition to the
previously proposed T-Mobile scope of work, Snohomish PUD is requiring the relocation of T-
Mobile's antennas and equipment in order to bring the installation into compliance with the most up to
date SnoPUD standards and the current National Electrical Safety Code requirements. The requirement
is for a minimum of 15' clearance the nearest high voltage transmission line to the nearest portion of
antennas and equipment. To facilitate this requirement, SnoPUD must replace the existing pole with a
longer pole to provide additional clearance above the top conductor and to relocate T-Mobile up higher
on the replacement pole, in order to be compliant.
T-Mobile's Ground Scope of Work: T-Mobile is proposing to replace and modify existing equipment
racks and existing equipment inside of their existing equipment shelter. No increase in the overall
number of equipment cabinets.
T-Mobile is requesting Planning review and approval under the Building Permit permit application for
their proposed scope of work.
