Thank you for reviewing the drawings. We are not replacing a wall in the bathrooms. The existing wall
configuration is odd and takes a lot of space because of the old style toilets installed. We are straighten
the walls and taking over the empty space between the walls and rearranging plumbing so we can have
a bigger master bathroom. I have a PhD in mechanical engineering and I can assure you that those walls
are NOT load bearing walls. As you know not all walls in a home are load bearing walls. Engineering
calculations are not needed. It is clearly indicated in the drawings the area that is been repurposed.
We are adding a wall in the master bedroom to create space for a walking closet. This wall will not be a
load bearing wall either and the access door is a barn style door carrying no loads, however the framing
for the door opening follows the standard that you forwarded to Frank and we attached to the
application a couple of weeks ago. I reiterate, we are NOT modifying any walls that my carry loads and
engineering calculations are not needed. I understand your concerns but also please understand we
need to move forward with the permit. What may we able to do to proceed?

I got this, do you know when you'll supply the other info? here is the info from the other email:
The plans show demo of a wall in bathroom. But the proposed plans show the wall there? Are you
replacing the entire wall? Removing a wall may require engineering calcs.
Cutting into walls to add doorways may require engineering calcs.
We also need to know your framing details for walls, doorways. (plans say header details are attached
but I don't see em?)
After you get the new plans drawn up, and framing details- Im going to ask Eric to look at for possible
requirements of an engineer.
