Per our conversation, you intend to perform some structural work at your house. The following will be
done.
1. A center post and beam will be replaced by a new steel beam along with new posts at each end of
the beam. See the attached structural drawings for the needed work. The existing foundations will
be verified in the field. Additional work may be needed when the existing foundation sizes are
determined.
2. A non -bearing wall in a corner of the house will be modified. This is structurally acceptable since
the wall is parallel to the floor joists and does not provide support.
