Dear Applicant/ Owner/ Contractor:
According to Building Division records, the above referenced permit will expire on
10/15/2022 In an effort to ensure your project is inspected and has received an approval per
your issued permit, please call for your final inspection(s). If the work is not finished you must
renew your permit PRIOR to the expiration date. Permit renewal fees are one quarter of the
original building permit fee, and you are only allowed to renew two times. In order to renew
your permit at least one required building progress inspection must have been performed by
the City Building Inspector (this does not include pre -construction meetings), within the past 12
months.
Renewal fee = $77.50
Note: Building permit fees and time frames are established by the Edmonds Community
Development Code and cannot be waived by the Building Official. If you do not receive your
final or do not renew your permit by the expiration date, a new permit application along with
applicable fees will be required in order to complete your project. If a lapse in the building
permit creates a code violation, the matter may be turned over to the City's Code Enforcement
office.
