GENERAL NOTES:
1. All work shall comply with the Building Code, latest edition, Energy and Ventilation
Codes, and all other applicable codes. Mechanical and Electrical work shall be by
separate permit.
2. The Contractor shall verify all conditions and dimensions, and shall notify the drafter
of any discrepancies before commencing work. Do not scale drawings. No work
3. shall begin prior to permit issuance, including ordering of materials. The approved
building permit set shall be the construction set.
No deviations from these documents should be made without written approval from
the drafter. Any changes could compromise the structural integrity of the project.
4. The Contractor shall obtain all permits required for work in the public right-of-way,
and shall comply with all City of Edmonds regulations regarding such work.
5. Location of existing utilities should be considered approximate. The Contractor is
responsible for verifying the accuracy of all utility locations, and to further discover
and avoid any other utilities not shown which may be affected by the Work.
