RE: Request for Minor Revision Project BLD2021-1083
To Whom It May Concern:
Please see the attached revision (revisions clouded) permit sheets with the following
requested revisions to the design as previously permitted on Project BLD2021-1083:
We are proposing to change the previously -permitted wood patio at the permitted
kitchen addition to a much smaller concrete landing/steps down to an on -grade path to a
new on -grade concrete patio, per plans. The new proposed patio is allowed to project
1/3 of the distance into the required side yard setback per code section 16.20.040. So
with the required side setback of 7.5' at this property, the patio is allowed to be 5' from
the side property line (1 /3 encroachment = 2.5'), where it is currently proposed (Sheet
A0.1)
Please note the updated impervious/semi-pervious calculations on Sheet A0.1. The
proposed patio replaces/relocates a previously -existing concrete patio (see survey) from
south of the kitchen to a location farther east, per the site plan (Sheet A0.1).
