This letter shall acknowledge that the proposed roofing assembly is eligible for warranty consideration by
Carlisle SynTec.
The assembly is as follows;
Roof Height: 40'
Membrane: Carlisle's 10-foot-wide Sure -Weld 60-mil TPO membrane mechanically
attached within the splice using HP-X Fasteners & Piranha Plates spaced 12-
inches on center. The perimeters are to be enhanced with a minimum of one
6-foot-wide perimeter sheet fastened 12-inches on center.
Cover Board: 1/ " SecurShield HD Plus mechanically attached to the deck using Carlisle
fasteners & plates at a rate of 6 per 4'x8' board.
Insulation: Two layers of 3.3" 25-psi SecurShield Polyiso insulation loose laid.
Vapor Barrier: VapAir Seal MD installed direct to the steel deck.
Deck: Minimum 22-gauge or heavier steel deck. The existing roof system is removed
down to the deck.
The roofing assembly described herein, represents Carlisle's minimum warranty requirements. It is not
intended to modify, negate or alter any requirements dictated by the specifier or mandated by the
building code or the building owner's insurer. Carlisle's review and inspection is strictly for the purpose
of issuing the Carlisle warranty.
System enhancements pertaining, but not limited to, membrane thickness, insulation type and
thickness, flashing height, slope requirements and membrane terminations (beyond those required by
Carlisle) are to be complied with when specified unless approved by the Architect / Consultant. These
conditions are considered above and beyond the scope of Carlisle review and take precedence.
Upon completion of an inspection by a Carlisle Field Service Representative to confirm that the roof
system has been installed in accordance to Carlisle Specifications, Carlisle will issue a 20-year warranty
with 55-mph peak gust wind speed coverage. Unless purchased or supplied through Carlisle, please note
that performance, integrity, and impact of products by others is not included under coverage of the
Carlisle Total System Warranty.
