Based on your selections, the following information and requirements apply to your application.
Submittal Information
Plumbing applications such as a water heater replacement or fixture addition DO NOT REQUIRE PLANS
NOTE: Only upload each document once. Do not duplicate. Each set of documents are required to be separate (Architectural, Civil, Structural Calculations,
etc.) A scan of all documents into one file will be rejected.
SUBMITTAL REQUIREMENTS:
FLOOR PLANS: Scaled X" to 1 foot
1. PLUMBING PLANS shall show the following, as applicable:
2. Location and type of proposed fixtures
3. Pipe size and routing for potable and sanitary systems.
4. Riser diagram with waste, vent, and potable water piping location and sizes. Isometric drawings are required for projects that include a
commercial kitchen, a grocery store, or more than 3 stories.
5. Calculations for water meter sizing and DWV fixture units for building drain.
6. Fixture schedule.
7. Other pertinent details, including interceptors, piping support, firestop penetration systems, etc.
GAS PIPING LAYOUT:
1. Sizing and pipe material
2. Pipe sizing calculations
3. Maximum design operating pressure
4. Location of pressure regulators
5. Fixture schedules
CROSS CONNECTION DEVICES: (Required on all direct connections to the potable water system)
1. Specify all fixtures that require cross connection devices (i.e. ice machines, chemical injection systems, soda dispensers, boilers, etc.) and
note the make and model of each device.
2. Indicate the type and location of the cross connection device for premise isolation.
MANUFACTURER'S SPECS:
1. Provide for equipment such as dishwashers, sump pumps, ejector pumps, water heater boosters, grease traps, oil water separators and other
specialty equipment.
MEDICAL GAS PIPING:
1. Site plan indicating the location of existing or new cylinder storage areas, property lines, driveways, and existing or proposed buildings.
2. Piping layout showing the proposed piping system or alteration to existing system. Include alarms, valves, type of gas and outlets.
3. Calculated demand and loading of any piping, existing, proposed, or future, shall also be included.
4. Materials specifications.
The documents listed are the minimum necessary to proceed with the application process; however additional documents may be necessary in order
to complete the review.
Waiving a Required Document
If you believe that a required submittal document does not apply to your project, please upload a simple explanation why in place of the required
document. Please note that during project review, a reviewer may require you to submit a document that was originally waived at submittal to
evaluate the application for compliance with codes and standards.

What to Expect After You Submit Your Application and Electronic Plans
We will look at your application and plans within two business days of your online submittal. You will receive an email from us stating the status of
your application. There are two possible outcomes for your application:
1. We will accept your application and send you an invoice via email.
2. We will not accept your application, and we will tell you what we need to complete the application screening. You will have 30 days to submit the
requested documents through your MyBuildingPermit.com Plan Review Dashboard.
Important information about completeness and vesting:
3. Application acceptance for screening is not a determination of completeness.
4. The submittal date is not your vesting date; your application is vested after we receive payment of all submittal fees.
Re -submittals
5. Identify revised/added information by circling, noting, or otherwise consistently marking changes on the plans.
6. Include a response letter addressing each of the comments.
7. Submit your revisions to Permit Processing, not the reviewer, through your MyBuildingPermit.com Dashboard by clicking Submit Additional
Files.
8. If your permit has not been issued, submit a full plan set.

Please Note
The property owner bears the responsibility for the accuracy and completeness of all information provided with or affecting the application
submittal.
If the property contains or is adjacent to critical areas (streams and stream buffers, wetlands, floodplains, and geological hazard areas),
additional information may be required.
