Thank you for the update of the soil conditions that you feel may address Landau and Associates comments under their review. I understand Sean Gertz will be visiting your work site tomorrow
(6/05/2020) at your request to evaluate whether the soils that you have discovered on your project site meet the recommendations of Landau and Associates. The City of Edmonds is ok
with this approach based on the e-mail from Sean Gertz ,with the understanding that the findings from Sean may or may not result in an approval of your soils for the construction of
your retaining wall and temporary shoring. Should this not be approved by Landau additional plan review costs may occur.

We have approximately $850 remaining in our existing task order budget. Provided the site visit is relatively short (1 hr or less on-site), I should be able to visit the site and prepare
a field report documenting our assessment of site conditions without requiring additional budget.
Please note that a field report is not as formal of a documentation compared to the letter that we typically prepare for a third party peer review, however a field report is more appropriate
given the situation. Preparing a letter is more time consuming, therefore if a letter is needed, we would require additional budget.
