I am seeking the building construction permit only. Other permits needed (electrical, plumbing) will be
secured by subcontractors performing the work under the direction of PALS Construction.
Total project entails:
• Current kitchen floorplan and proposed kitchen floorplan are attached.
• One weight bearing wall to be removed and replaced with a ceiling beam; structural calculations
are attached.
• All cabinets, countertops, and appliances to be removed and replaced with new materials and
appliances.
• All renovations are interior; no changes to the exterior.
• Electrician will submit a different application for electrical work permit. Hood will be installed
and vent in the current manner.
• Plumbing will remain as is currently, with a new sink, faucet, and water line to an ice maker in
the freezer.
• There will be no change in occupancy.
• The contractor is Pedro Leon, PALS Construction, which is a licensed and bonded contractor in
the state of Washington.
