As you can see, I struggle with lights shining off site especially into houses. Attached is the Street Lighting Transmission & Distribution Guideline. Per the PUD lighting standards, street lights are placed every 180’ to 220’. The lamination extends over 220’ in both directions. The existing lighting plan and pattern covers into the cul-de-sac. If you believe this light isn’t required, please demonstrate that by submitting a LIGHTING ANALYSIS. If light pollution within private property is one of your concerns, a SHIELD (see black section shown below) can be added to the luminaire (in order to reduce the amount of light going into private residences).
