I just spoke with Eric Carter from The City of Edmonds. They are ok with CDK moving forward on the entry rot on building F at Montclair. In order for us
to start this work the city would like us to get a letter from DEI stating that all the work being done is like for like, no structural changes. I am including in
this email a forwarded message from Denise at the city of Edmonds, we need to follow her instructions exactly to expedite the permit process.

Hi Denise,
The property management firm for the Montclair Townhomes Association contacted us regarding some additional rot investigation and
repair required at the main entry of the F building located at 8500 Main Street, Edmonds, WA. We were able to secure a site visit from Dibble
Engineering Inc (DEI) this past Thur (11/11) @ 10:00am to perform a review for the purpose of putting together a repair report.
There is a possibility it could take DEI several weeks to finalize their report due to the volume of work currently in their portfolio and quite frankly,
the association is wanting to move forward with this work and get repairs completed ASAP. If appears most items will be a like -for -like replacement of
existing materials.
Is there a way we could apply for and receive a permit to begin the demo and repair at this location in absence of a full report from DEI at this time?
Given how long the permitting process can sometime take, we are attempting to do whatever is possible to expedite all. Please advise.
