I am applying for a variance to move the southeast fence, encompassing my backyard, 13.5 feet east. The fence is six (6) feet tall, and a variance is required. If permitted, the fence will be 20.5 feet from the property line and about 24 feet from the street. The move will allow the fence to encompass my shed, which currently sits in my front yard. The fence will not obstruct driving visibility in anyway. I have included photos below showing where the new fence will sit, and also showing that the fence will not block visibility for drivers. Lastly, I have included photos that show examples of my neighbors who do not follow the current zoning codes that I am restricted by. I would appreciate being allowed this variance, as I know my neighbors have not been happy about the shed in my front yard. Any advice you can provide that will help me get this approved is appreciated.
