OBSERVATIONS
RGI was onsite to observe the excavation for the wall and provide confirmation of wall details.
The contractor has started the excavation and
exposed the subgrade on the north end of the wall.
Silty SAND with gravel soils were exposed in the cut
and at wall subgrade. Soils appear to be suitable for
the support of the wall and for backfill beyond the
drainage zone.
No tracking was observed and a silt fence is installed on the downslope portion of the project below the
wall location. A sprinkler was used for dust control.
