Project Existing Heat Pump
Name:
A heat pump was installed when my house was built in 2015. The builder set the pad and the
HVAC company installed the pump. I've been informed they did not apply for the proper permit at
the time. The unit is under 36" and meets sound code. I'm hoping someone can review my
application and accept or come see my heat pump and let me know of any questions. Additional
Description Info 3/28: - I've added one more spec file from Trane. My model is the 4TWR5042G. On the spec
of Work: sheet they said to use the 4TWR5036G1 (they said the dimensions/specs are interchangeable)
-The unit is 37.9" tall but is designed to have up to the bottom 4 inches buried. We lowered the
pad and the unit and the pad are now buried and the total height is 35.9" from the ground. Photos
attached. -The unit is 4' from my property line. With the aftermarket sound blankets it runs within
the DB requirements per code. I've added this to the site plan. Thanks, Ross
