Request far Approval to Install Ductless Neat Pump
Dear Homeowner Association Chairman & Board,
This letter is to request approval to install an outdoor heat purr,p`or the above -mentioned townhome of Ms. Sarkis -
Subject equipment is a Mitsubishi 3.5 ton inverter -driven heat pump with noise level below existing ambient. Maximum sound rating of the
unit is 56dB, equivalent to the sound of a ceiling fan, unnoticeable from 64dB existing ambient noise at location.
Equipment will be placed on the side of home, un-seen from the street.
This specific equipment type has gone through multiple testing and approved to be installed in close quarter residence in municipalities such
as City of Seattle, City of Bellevue... due to satisfactory noise level and weight.
Unit will be installed on the ground, leveled, with equipment pad and seismic strap for earthquake resistance, UV wrap on any exposed
plumbing. 2" siding penetration will be sealed with water -proof industrial caulking. Refrigerant in use is R410A, non -toxic, self-contained,
meter -regulated, and sealed in EPA approved commercial -grade insulated copper piping. Electrical will be run by licensed electricians in
State -approved gauge & conduit with weather-proof disconnect box. All necessary permits will be procured and inspections upon
completion.
