The items are clouded as revision number 2 on the sheets affected. Sheet A0.0 Site Plan • Glazing area calculations have been updated to reflect the proposed new windows. • Note added to energy code requirements to see Sheet A6.0 for U-factor area -weighted average calculations. Sheet A1.0 Basement Floor Plan • Relocated gas water heater to garage. • Infilled existing fireplace opening, no longer installing gas fireplace at that location. • Replacing wood post with steel post at stairs, see structural. • Relocated washer and dryer to hallway closet. • Created a mechanical room with furnace only. Relocated water heater and washer and dry from this location. • Removed window from mechanical room. Sheet A1.1 Main Floor Plan • Removed dropped ceiling at foyer and dining room, will create vaulted ceiling throughout main floor, see structural. • Added larger sliding glass door and single picture window to south wall replacing the three individual fixed windows. • Adding four skylights to living room and foyer. • Removed one window from west wall next to fireplace and added two clearstory windows at gable end, see elevations. Sheet A1.2 Top Floor Plan • Replaced 2x4 operable skylight with 2x2 operable skylight. • Relocated water closet from being located against eastern exterior wall to further west. • Removed small window on east wall above previous water closet location. • Replaced 3602 window in bathroom to 2436 window. • Reconfigured main bathroom. Removed storage area. The storage area will now be part of the vaulted ceiling in the dining room below. Switched the closet from opening into the master bedroom to opening into the bathroom. • Master bedroom ceiling to be vaulted, new beam proposed at ridge and running north south from south wall to wall dividing master bedroom from master bath. New beam to be added in the basement to carry roof load, see structural. Sheet A1.3 Roof Plan • Roof plan shows locations of proposed skylights Sheet A2.0 Building Elevations • 1/A2.0 shows 24x36 window in master bathroom which replaced the 36x72 window. • 2/A2.0 shows new clerestory windows at gable as well as single fixed window next to fireplace. Sheet A2.1 Building Elevations • 1/A2.1 shows new picture window and slider on the south wall of the living room as well as three new skylights. Sheet A3.0 Sections • 1/A3.0 shows proposed vaulted ceiling in master bedroom as well as new vaulting over foyer and dining room. See structural. • 2/A3.0 shows vaulting in living room continuing beyond into the foyer and dining room. See structural • 3/A3.0 was removed because is was a section through the dropped ceiling that no longer is proposed. Sheet A3.1 Wall Section • Revised wall section at master bedroom to show vaulted condition instead of flat ceiling. Sheet A4.0 Enlarged Floor Plans • Revised stair plan to show modifications to original plan. Initially we were going to leave the stairs as is, but the tread being only 9" was a bit of a concern and we had room to expand so we made treads 10" to meet current code. Sheet A5.0 Details New detail showing a condition in the basement were a 4" concrete stem wall is integrated into the wall dividing the family room from the crawl space, not discovered until after demolition was completed. Propose adding rigid insulation to the back side of stem wall in crawl space. Sheet A6.0 Schedules • Revised window schedule and window legend showing U-factors provided by manufacture for each window. U-factor area -weighted average calculations provided for both windows and skylights showing that we meet the maximum U-factors. Manufacturer specifications provided for each window.
