Per manufacture specifications/literature, in regard to the 18k heat pump, the following decibel ratings
were measured from three (3) feet.
In extreme outdoor temperatures, (for example, 0 degrees) the heat pump can reach a rating of 59 dB.
With average daytime/nighttime temperatures, the heat pump will operate from 30-48 dB.
