FILE NO. V-03-174: Application by Michel's Corp. for the City of Edmonds for a noise variance to allow construction noise from boiler, freezer, vacuum trucks, and pumps between the hours of 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. weekdays & between the hours of 6:00 p.m. & 10:00 a.m. Saturdays for a sewer replacement project on 2nd Avenue S. (between Pine and Elm), Elm Street (between 2nd and 5t") and State Route 104 (between 511 and 92nd), located in various commercial and residential zones. (Postponed until February 5, 2004.) B. FILE NO. V-03-177: Application by Frederick N. West for a variance to reduce the required 15-foot (east) side setback to four feet to allow a pre-existing carport and shed to remain as they are. The site is located at 7620 - 201s' Street SW and is zoned Multiple Residential (RM-3). C. FILE NO. V-03-184: Appeal by William Snell for property owners David and Julie Clobes of a Staff Decision to deny an application for a Steep Slope Exemption. The Steep Slope Exemption is required for a proposed addition to an existing Single-family Residence located at 7425 Olympic View Drive. The site is zoned Single-family Residential (RS-12). (Postponed) D. FILE NO. ADB-03-158 and CUP-03-135: Application by Jae Lee for the Korean United Presbyterian Church (KUPC) for a 42,000 square foot support building (for Sunday school classrooms, conference rooms, church daycare, and gymnasium) with associated grading and parking. This application includes a conditional use permit to allow expansion of a legal nonconforming use and to allow the height of the building to be 35 feet in a Single-family Residential (RS- 8) zone. The site is just south of the existing church at 8506 - 238t" Street SW, and includes work on the sites currently addressed as 8521, 8519, 8509 and 8507 - 240t" Street SW as well as the existing church overflow parking area. (Postponed until February 5, 2004.) E. FILE NO. CU-03-182 and V-03-183: Application by Thomas and Yvonne McGraw to convert a residence at 20120 - 76t" Avenue W. into a doctor's office in the Multiple Residential (RM-3) zone. Application also includes a variance to allow parking to occur at 13 feet to the street property line instead of the required 15 feet. 3.
