The City of Edmonds Planning Division has reviewed the proposed scope of work for minor bridge repair
over Perrinville Creek, which will require Hydraulic Project Approval from the Washington Department of
Fish and Wildlife.
Upon review of the proposed work, the City has concluded that the project is exempt from the requirements
of SEPA pursuant to ECDC 20.15A.080 and WAC 197-11-800(3) — Repair, remodeling and maintenance
activities — because replacing rotted deck board components is considered necessary maintenance and will
not change the scope or purpose of the existing bridge. This letter provides an exemption from the need to
undergo SEPA review from the City of Edmonds. If you have any questions regarding this matter, please
