By the following, I can confirm to have witnessed the following load test carried out at
the Garaventa Factory in Surrey BC on November 8, 2005:

Conclusion:
Xpress II
Hanger, Platform and drive. All components are standard
production stock.
Hanger/Platform shell hung on standard rail section.
A static load of I I25Kg (5x Rated load) was applied to the
platform.
All of the components tested held the load. No catastrophic
failure of any component occurred.
This test has demonstrated that the Xpress II conveyance system components meet or
exceed the strength requirements for a safety factor rating of 5 times its rated load
capacity.
