The following are revisions for the Hyundai Sales & Service project that were necessitated by changes
in the corporate design standards. In order to cap the number of revisions on the drawing set, these
are considered an addendum to the Revision #6 submitted on 4.20.20 to Eric Carter.
Architectural drawings listed below have been revised, related to the above and denoted as Revision
#6 with clouds and triangle on the following drawing sheets.
Architectural Drawings and Information
1. A1.0 Site Plan- An outdoor vehicle display has been added at the upper right northeast corner
of the site. Steel bollards have been added to the Service Drop off carport vehicle entry/exit.
2. A2.0 Occupancy Diagram- A breakroom has been added to the second floor and, with the
additional storage space, adds 3 occupants to the calculation. No change to the exit
requirements is required.
3. A2.1 First Floor Plan- Corporate requirements for two fixture per sex restrooms expanded the
restrooms 121 and 123 at the north end of the service garage area. Special Tools 123 moved to
the south end as a result. Hall 124 has been created to provide access for repair garage staff to
access the new break room on the second floor.
4. A2.2 First Floor Reflected Ceiling Plan- Ceiling and lighting information has been provided for
rooms 121, 122, 123, and 124.
5. A2.3 Second Floor Plan- Breakroom 207 has been added in the middle of the existing storage
area. A kitchenette counter has been provided as an amenity as well as a set of double doors to
control access to the storage area. All required clearances for the inclined lift at the north stair
have been maintained.
6. A2.4 Second Floor Reflected Ceiling Plan- Ceiling and lighting information for Breakroom 207
has been included.
7. A5.1 Interior Window and Door Schedule- Doors associated with the changes to rooms 121,
1222, 123, 124, and 207 have been updated.
8. A6.0 Interior Elevations- Restroom required accessible clearance information has been
included.

Structural Drawines and Information
1. S101 Foundation Plan- Required criteria for slab support of the point loads for openings in the
wall between the service garage and parts storage are indicated.
2. S102 Framing Plan- Headers for the new openings are indicated. The southernmost column of
the existing line of bearing in the parts storage on the First Floor will be removed. The tributary
load of the second floor in the vicinity of this column is accommodated by hanging the existing
north -south beam off the new steel beam running east -west. This new beam has been
increased in size to accommodate this, in comparison with the prior design in the approved
Revision #5.
3. S205 Details- Header connection at existing concrete tilt up wall detailed.
4. S207 Details- Existing beam to new beam connection detailed.
Structural calculations attached.
Civil Drawings
1. C5.00-3 Utility Plan- The relocation of the Fire Sprinkler Room 125 west of original location
requires the sprinkler main to be relocated as it emerges from the north side of the building.
2. C202.3 Paving and Grading Plan- The new Hyundai corporate requirement for an outdoor
vehicle display pad has revised the paving at the upper right northeast corner of the site. A
memo from Cecil+Associates is included regarding the impact of that to new and replaced
impervious area.
