BLD2023-0358+Letter+3.23.2023_9.03.50_AM+3438552Seavue Condominium Seavue Association of Apartment Owners 1130 51' Avenue South #B1 Edmonds WA 98020 Date: March 23, 2023 To: Holm, Unit 101 From: Seavue Association Jay Grant, President T: 206.260.0080 M:202.351.9399 E: jay@jaygrant.com CC: City of Edmonds, Building Official (A copy of this letter must be brought to the Planning Department in order to obtain a City Permit) RE: Authorization of Heating Installation — Unit 101 Seavue Association of Apartment Owners "Seavue", hereby authorizes the owner of Unit 101 to submit a permit to the City of Edmonds and the State of Washington for work to include: Construction and installation of a heat pump system, to include, with specification and pre -approval of the location of any components to include a unit outside on the common property and installation of a compressor, electrical and other requirements internal to the structure for a functional system: o Any electrical work must be performed by a licensed electrician or if within the contractor's license and liability insurance, minor work within the scope of their individual's license; any plumbing shall be performed by a licensed journeyman plumber who is licensed; o All contractors must have valid Washington State licenses, bonded, insured, including being insured for commercial multi -story buildings, and a current Edmonds business license; o No hard surface floor work may be performed until a hard surface form is submitted and approved by the Seavue board; o No work outside of the scope of this permission may be performed by any party; o A copy of the permit must be offered to the Association and posted in applicable areas; o Contractors must be informed of Seavue Administrative Rules, including times of construction and abide by the 5t" Avenue entrance door use; o Obtaining of a permit and any work performed is acceptance of the requirements of this letter, governing documents, and any code requirements in their entirety. Any changes to your scope of work after approval of the Seavue Board of Directors and or the City of Edmonds require immediate notification of the parties. All costs, including any permits, architectural and envelope requirements, the performance of construction, any damage to the building structure, and any dump requirements shall be the sole responsibility of the owner. If for some reason Seavue provides any other costs for some reason at a later time, a separate letter will be issued. It is the owner's responsibility to ensure Seavue is notified of any inspections that take place by any city, county or state official so a Seavue representative may be present as a condition of approval. Such authorization is limited to approval subject to any and all Seavue governing requirements, any codes and permits requirements by the City of Edmonds, Snohomish County, or the State of Washington.
