Assessment: Per site visit and conversation on February 21, 2023 it is evident that:
A) A beam supporting the lower deck of unit B on the South side of the building is
sagging approximately 11/2 - 2 inches. B) Recommendations have been made by Side
Sway to install a new concrete pier an support column to lift and stabilize the deck.
Proposal: A) Excavate as necessary in the planting area to a depth of approximately
42 inches. B) Form and pour a new 18" X 18" X 12" concrete footing with a minimum 8"
O concrete pier extending to a level approximately 2" above surface grade. Concrete,
rebar and dimensions to conform to engineer's drawings. C) Backfill and compact soil
around pier. D) Remove soffit and siding as necessary to expose existing sagging
beam. E) Lift beam approximately 1 Y2" — 2" using temporary supports and a hydraulic
jack. F) Install a new 4X4 pressure -treated support post secured to beam and pier with
anchors as specified by Side Sway Engineering. G) Remove temporary supports and
reinstall soffit and siding to accommodate new post. H) Install vertical tight -knot cedar
wrap with butt joints around treated 4X4 post. 1) Clean up worksite and return as close
as possible to original condition upon completion.
Special Notes: All painting to be by others and is not included in this proposal.
Bid Amount: $7,46510 plus tax.
Certification & Warranty: This completed support column installation described above
and located at "Edmonds Park Townhouses'; 610 Daley St., Unit B, Edmonds, WA
98020, shall be under warranty for all materials and workmanship provided under this
contract for 2 years from date of completion of work. Bodine Construction Services, Inc.
will make any necessary corrections to the above noted work in the unlikely event of
failure or future settlement. Also note that your warranty is fully transferable and is
recorded by the property address. This warranty stays with the home regardless of
change of ownership.

Terms: Upon bid acceptance please return signed copy of bid. A $3,12000
deposit is required to schedule work. All deposits will be considered as a retainer
fee and will be applied to the final billing upon successful completion of the
above listed job. Invoices are due on completion of job. For any invoices not
paid within 5 days of completion of job, a service charge of 1.5% per month will
