As requested, ESNW rep was onsite to observe and test stormwater utility backfill. While onsite ESNW
observed the following:
Stormwater Backfill- C113-3 to existing CB
Upon arrival, ESNW rep observed that the contractor backfilled shallow stormwater pipe between the
existing catch basin (CB) in 203rd St. SW and CB-3. ESNW rep observed the contractor had backfilled
using 1 '/4" minus crushed rock and compacted it to a dense and stable state. ESNW rep took a
compaction test at the SG elevation. Density test of the backfill material indicated adequate
compaction of at least 95% at the tested location. The location of this test is approximately shown
in Figure 1 below.
