Re Permit Application, 23616 Edmonds Way
Please be advised that the Hearthside Condominium Owners Association has authorized the owners
of unit D, Robert Sheehan to contract with Silverback Construction Services LLC to rebuild/restore the
deck belonging to their unit located at 23616 Edmonds Way, Edmonds, WA 98026, at a quoted cost of
$7,000. This letter was requested by Robert Sheehan to be provided by the Association and provided to
the City of Edmonds as part of the permit application process. As previously stated, the project is
authorized by the Association and the quoted cost of the project represents less than 5% of the total
valuation of the building. For insurance purposes the valuation of the eight unit complex is currently
$2,167,000 or $270,875 per unit.
Per previous communications on December 18th, 2018, the board members and homeowners of
Hearthside Condominiums HOA have agreed that for all future balcony replacements, lap siding will be
used to complete the exterior construction in place of the existing stucco siding. In addition, the lap
siding used must in all cases match that used on the balcony attached to the unit (unit F) that faces the
southern boundary of the property.
