My office has been made aware that the new residence at the above address is currently being
occupied without the required certificate of occupancy, which is a violation of the City of Edmonds
adopted building code. There are outstanding construction items that remain to be completed before
the City can allow occupancy of the structure. In particular, the list of site related correction items
identified from the Engineering Division final inspection dated 1/11/2023 has not been completed.
Please refer to the list or contact the Engineering Division if a new copy is needed.
In order to avoid enforcement action by the City, you will need to complete all outstanding
correction items and obtain all City inspection approvals within the next 30 days. This period of
time in no way constitutes approval by the City of Edmonds for current occupancy of the residence.
If the required corrections are not completed and inspected by June 8, 2023 this matter will be
forwarded to the City's Code Enforcement Officer.
