Dear Dennis,
As requested., The Riley Group, Inc. (RGI) is providing this letter documenting our Special Inspection of the
permeable pavement in the alley north of 323 and 327 Daley Street sites and the driveways for each site.
The Riley Group, Inc. (RGI) has performed field inspection of the permeable pavement on May 25, 2022.
Based on our observation, the pervious pavement was constructed per city approved plan and specifications.
RGI conducted a site visit on May 25, 2002 and observed the 4 inch thick layer of permeable asphalt in the alley.
RGI conducted a test of the permeable asphalt following the ASTM 1781 standard. Two tests were completed
on the permeable pavement in the alley. Both tests indicated infiltration rates above 1,000 inches/hour,
acceptable for the permeable pavement under the ASTM 1781 standard. If you have any questions or require
additional information, please contact us.
Respectfully submitted,
THE RILEY GROUP, INC.
