Based on costs associated with this project, we have elected to change the way we are meeting the
required energy credit requirements shown on approved sheet 1 of the plan set.
The original, approved plans elected to use Option 3.4, a ductless min -split heat pump system, to meet
the required 1.5 credits.
We have changed the way we are getting the required 1.5 energy credits to the following:
• Option 3.1: An Energy Star rated gas furnace with a minimum AFUE of 95% (1.0 credits)
• Option 5.2: An Energy Star rated gas water heater with a minimum EUF of 0.80 (0.5 credits)
