The City has not yet received a response to the attached ROW permit comments. The Elm Way
project has now been awarded and it is critical that the subject ROW permit is ready to issue
before the City directs the contractor to install a driveway approach to your property off Elm Way.
As noted in the email below of June 5th, a response to the attached comments should have been
received by the City at this point in order to move forward with the driveway approach. There is
still a chance to make this happen, but the window is quickly narrowing.
I am out of the office the next 2 weeks and ask that you please reply all to this email to provide an
update on the status of the re -submittal. The City will need to make a decision very soon as to
whether the driveway approach will be constructed.

The City's Elm Way walkway project is out to bid and we expect construction to begin sometime in
July. It is critical that the right-of-way permit application for the Giles property is ready for
issuance before the City directs their contractor to install a driveway approach off Elm.
Can you please confirm receipt of the attached comments along with confirmation that a
resubmittal will be provided to the City within the next 2 weeks. If at any point the property
owner decides not to move forward with the project and associated required improvements on
private property, please let me know that as well.

additional driveway approach off Elm Way. As noted within the comments, City staff could
be available for an on -site meeting to discuss the Elm Way project improvements and
alignment of driveways should you find this beneficial. We are currently available on
December 1st from 10-11am or from 3:15-4pm. It is preferred that a meeting time be
coordinated with the adjacent property owner (1220 Coronado PI) as well.
Should you wish to schedule a meeting on December 1St, please follow-up with both Greg
and I as soon as possible. If you and/or the property owner would like to meet, but the
date and times offered do not work for you, please inform of your availability.
