Reference: Point Edwards Deck Repairs Proposal
Dear Alejandro;
Per your request we submit the following for your review and consideration.
Comments: This proposal is for the addition of cricketing to help eliminate the ponding water under the
General Specifications
1. Meet all WA DOSH and James King Roofing safety standards at all times while on site.
2. Meet all State of Washington COVID-19 PPE and social distancing requirements while in effect.
3. All James King Roofing exterior protection protocol to be followed at all times on -site. Interior protection is not
included unless specifically stated elsewhere in this proposal.
4. This work is assumed to be completed during normal business hours.
5. Clean up and legally dispose of all debris created and touched by James King Roofing while on site.
Scope of Work:
6. All Pavers and over -burden will be removed and reinstalled by others.
7. Register project with Snohomish County Fire Department and pay for and acquire a fire permit number. We have
included the costs in our quote(s) below.
8. Install new %" per foot sloped tapered Polylso mechanically attached through exiting to wood decking
9. Cover newly installed insulation with 1/8" SopraBoard and fully adhere using low rise adhesive.
10. Embed existing granules from tie off areas at least 8" from edges to allow for proper adhesion of modified "torch
down" membrane at all tie -off areas where new materials will be tied off onto existing materials.
11. Install asphaltic primer to all existing surfaces where new materials will tie -off onto existing.
12. Install one layer of self -adhered base sheet lapped onto 4" of newly exposed bitumen.
13. Install one layer of granulated cap sheet from the field up to the existing wall.
14. Install Soprema ALSAN flashing around perimeter to ensure roof remains water tight.
15. Perform a 2-hour fire watch per insurance requirements. If torch permits are required from the local municipality, we
have included all costs associated with obtaining the required fire permits.
16. Clean and remove all debris created as a result of all work described above.
Cost: $17,640.00 (+WSST)
